The Tompkins County Veterans Day Parade, Ithaca, NY is Always held the Sunday prior to Veterans Day
(the 11th Day of the 11th Month at 1100 (hours))
Flyover Approved!
...get ready for the roar...
Mayor of Ithaca, Carolyn Peterson, The Pentagon and the US Air Force have approved a flyover of the parade this year, similar to two years ago.
We will post the type of flyover as soon as we are informed as to whether or not it will be jets or a cargo plane...be sure to look to the sky on parade day...
and get ready for the roar!
This Year's Parade will be held on:
Sunday, November 8, 2009, 2:00pm
The parade will go down Cayuga Street in front of the Holiday Inn, then continue down Martin Luther/State Street to the VFW Post 961, across from the State Diner.
Please join us inside at the VFW Post 961 after the parade. Everyone attending the parade is invited!
